He is a UK and American dance champion and has been featured in numerous newspapers and magazines. He founded the London Swing Dance Society in 1986, the UK's biggest and longest running swing dance club, as well as the famous Stompin' Swing Nights at London's legendary 100 Club

Taina has been teaching Boogie-Woogie, Lindy Hop and Finnish social dances all over Scandanavia for many years and has also been competing in modern and Latin dance for five years. On top of this extensive repertoire she does some Street Dance, Tap and Argentine Tango. She runs her own Boogie-Woogie workshops and enjoys performing in the Sugarfoot Stompers. To top it all she is UK, USA and Finnish Champion!
