Lesson Description:This lesson is a study of the different pieces that make up the Lindy Hop basic, and what makes them work. Highly recommend especially for dancers who dance other styles but are new to Lindy Hop. Breakdown includes different ways of dividing and segmenting patterns in your mind, suggestions for how intermediate dancers can begin to create moves of their own which make sense, an exploration of a variety of handhold possibilities, plus an application of the concepts in both a slotted and circular version of the swingout.
