Online Jazz (vernacular) Dance Lesson Video: Al Minn's Wagon Wheels
Wagon Wheels cross genre boundaries and go "way back" in jazz, tap, and appalachian clogging, and other traditions. They can be used for comedy, or flash, or rhythm. In this lesson we will turn our eyes towards Al Minns. His presentation from The Spirit Moves will guide us in making movement and arm-placement choices. If you have not tried this step before, you will find this lesson incredibly beneficial--the step is quite deceptive!

Instructor BioNathan Bugh is known by his students as an insightful and thorough communicator. Nathan has been teaching dance professionally since 2002 and has taught at a wide variety of camps and venues, such as Swing Out New Hampshire, Providence Swings, the Rudolstadt Festival of Germany, Dance Flurry, The Fieldston School, and The Juilliard School. He has been a guest of several artist-in-residence programs and teaches weekly classes at Dance Manhattan, Columbia University Swing Club, Swing 46, and the Vanaver Caravan Institute.
Nathan performed with the Vanaver Caravan at the Rudolstadt Festival and in a televised concert in the Redlands, California. He danced Lindy Hop in Noemi LaFrance's site-specific odyssey, Agora II. He frequently performs for New York City organizations and has appeared in many of New York's exciting public venues, like Pier 54, The NYC Dance Parade, Lincoln Center, and Spiegelworld.
Nathan also holds 1st-3rd place awards in multiple Lindy Hop, Charleston, and Cabaret competitions. He began his Lindy Hop training in 1998 with Tina Morales and Carnell Pipkin, and studied Tap with Robert L. Reed. Nathan holds a bachelor's degree in music from Oklahoma City University and a master's degree from The Juilliard School. His extensive music training allows him to count ANYTHING.
