Lesson Preview

Lesson Info

Hip, vernacular-jazz dancers have drooled over Al Minns' solos for decades. Here is your chance to feel the movement for yourself. We are looking at The Spirit Moves, vol. 2, "Savoy Champions," Al Minns' solo. This lesson assembles all the individual steps, with Minns' transitions and weight changes, so you can dance along with the master. If you have never attempted to steal from the jazz-age dancers, you will be shocked at the level of difficulty--and at what you will learn about your own movement and style!
