Lesson Description:This lesson teaches a variation on a Lindy Circle which makes use of an accented leg styling and momentum change for both partners. Breakdown includes a trick for communicating the stylization, suggestions for leads on how to maintain the open feeling of their regular Lindy Circle, how the footwork is affected by the stylization, and how both partners can cleanly remain together, transitioning smoothly into the next figure.

Daniel Newsome and Tiffiny Wine have been dancing for 8 years, studying extensively with master dancers from around the globe. Current Midwest Lindy Fest champs, they also placed third at NJC this year in Showcase, and 3rd at this year's Lindy on the Rocks Invitational Jack and Jill. Their style combines classic and modern technique while preserving the old flavor of lindy hop, keeping airsteps, charleston and classic movements at the core or what they do. They’ve placed in many local and national competitions as couples and as individuals, and travel regularly learning, competing and teaching around the country. Dan and Tiffiny are dedicated to keeping vintage music, dance and culture alive, and study swing history and use historical context in their classes. They are also studying vintage tap. Founding members of the 2nd place national team, 23 Skidoo, they also run Denver's most popular swing nights at the Mercury Cafe, with regular attendance of over 200 people a night. Their credits also include many dozens of DJ spots at national exchanges and camps.
