Title: Belly Dance Ballet
How does a Follower handle the conflict between being the strong, solid form that the Leader moves through space while allowing her body to melt and flow with feminine energy? This is a question I have asked myself ever since I first heard about frame. In this lesson I take you through the five classic positions of Ballet and break each one with snake-like hip rolls inspired by Belly Dancing. This helps with balance, core control, body awareness, and getting in tune with your own feminine movement. I have taught these lessons at several Follow focused weekend events and at Dance Manhattan in New York.
